With mind-penetrating knowledge one knows the mind of one endowed with mundane consciousness; the base of infinite space is a condition for the base of infinite consciousness…(as before)…the base of nothingness for the base of neither perception nor non-perception…(as before)…the visual object is a condition for visual consciousness…(as before)…the tangible object is a condition for body-consciousness; mundane aggregates are a condition for the knowledge of psychic power, for mind-penetrating knowledge, for the knowledge of recollecting past lives, for the knowledge of discerning beings’ kamma, for the knowledge of future events, and for advertence, through the condition of object.(1)
Bằng tha tâm thông, biết được tâm của người có tâm hiệp thế, không vô biên xứ là duyên cho thức vô biên xứ…v.v… vô sở hữu xứ là duyên cho phi tưởng phi phi tưởng xứ…v.v… sắc xứ là duyên cho nhãn thức…v.v… xúc xứ là duyên cho thân thức, các uẩn hiệp thế là duyên cho thần thông trí, tha tâm thông, túc mạng minh, nghiệp báo trí, vị lai trí, và cho sự hướng tâm bằng trưởng duyên. A supramundane phenomenon is a condition for a mundane phenomenon through the condition of object – Noble Ones, having emerged from the path, reflect upon the path, reflect upon the fruition, reflect upon Nibbāna; Nibbāna is a condition for the gotrabhu, for purification, for advertence through the condition of object; Noble Ones, with mind-penetrating knowledge, know the mind of one endowed with supramundane consciousness; supramundane aggregates are a condition for mind-penetrating knowledge, for the knowledge of recollecting past lives, for the knowledge of future events, and for advertence through the condition of object.(2)
