If an Arahant, declining from Arahantship, stands in the fruit of Non-Returning; and a Non-Returner, declining from the fruit of Non-Returning, stands in the fruit of Once-Returning; and a Once-Returner, declining from the fruit of Once-Returning, stands in the fruit of Stream-Entry; then truly, it should be said, "A Stream-Enterer, declining from the fruit of Stream-Entry, stands in the realm of an ordinary person."
Nếu bậc A-la-hán (Arahā), khi suy giảm khỏi quả A-la-hán (Arahatta), an trú ở quả Bất Lai (Anāgāmi-phala); bậc Bất Lai (Anāgāmī), khi suy giảm khỏi quả Bất Lai (Anāgāmi-phala), an trú ở quả Tư-đà-hàm (Sakadāgāmi-phala); bậc Tư-đà-hàm (Sakadāgāmī), khi suy giảm khỏi quả Tư-đà-hàm (Sakadāgāmi-phala), an trú ở quả Tu-đà-hoàn (Sotāpatti-phala); thì quả thật phải nói rằng: “Bậc Tu-đà-hoàn (Sotāpanna), khi suy giảm khỏi quả Tu-đà-hoàn (Sotāpatti-phala), an trú ở cảnh giới phàm phu (puthujjanabhūmi).”
