Should be done for occurring rebirth)... through nutriment condition... through faculty condition... through jhāna condition... through path condition... through association condition... through dissociation condition... through presence condition... through absence condition... through disappearance condition... through non-disappearance condition.5. Hetuyā tīṇi, ārammaṇe tīṇi, adhipatiyā tīṇi…pe… (sabbattha tīṇi), vigate tīṇi, avigate tīṇi (evaṃ gaṇetabbaṃ).5. There are three in root condition, three in object condition, three in predominance condition... and so on... (three in all cases), three in disappearance condition, three in non-disappearance condition (thus should it be counted).6. Atītārammaṇaṃ dhammaṃ paṭicca atītārammaṇo dhammo uppajjati napacchājātapaccayā… naāsevanapaccayā (naadhipatisadisā)… nakammapaccayā – atītārammaṇe khandhe paṭicca atītārammaṇā cetanā.(1)11. Dependent on a past-object phenomenon, a past-object phenomenon arises, not by way of post-existence condition... not by way of repetition condition... not by way of kamma condition—dependent on past-object khandhas, past-object volition.12. Atītārammaṇaṃ dhammaṃ paṭicca atītārammaṇo dhammo uppajjati navipākapaccayā…pe… (navipāke paṭisandhi natthi).12. Dependent on a past-object phenomenon, a past-object phenomenon arises, not by way of vipāka condition...etc... (there is no paṭisandhi in navipāka).13. Paccuppannārammaṇaṃ dhammaṃ paṭicca paccuppannārammaṇo dhammo uppajjati najhānapaccayā – pañcaviññāṇasahagataṃ ekaṃ khandhaṃ paṭicca tayo khandhā…pe… dve khandhe…pe….(1)13. Dependent on a present-object phenomenon, a present-object phenomenon arises, not by way of jhāna condition—dependent on one khandha co-arisen with the fivefold consciousness, three khandhas...etc... two khandhas...etc....14. Atītārammaṇaṃ dhammaṃ paṭicca atītārammaṇo dhammo uppajjati namaggapaccayā – ahetukaṃ atītārammaṇaṃ ekaṃ khandhaṃ paṭicca tayo khandhā…pe… (nahetusadisā tisso pañhā, moho natthi ).14. Dependent on a past-object phenomenon, a past-object phenomenon arises, not by way of magga condition—dependent on one rootless past-object khandha, three khandhas...etc... (three problems not like hetu, no delusion).15. Atītārammaṇaṃ dhammaṃ paṭicca atītārammaṇo dhammo uppajjati navippayuttapaccayā – arūpe atītārammaṇaṃ ekaṃ khandhaṃ paṭicca tayo khandhā…pe… dve khandhe…pe….(1)15. Dependent on a past-object phenomenon, a past-object phenomenon arises, not by way of vippyutta condition—in the immaterial realm, dependent on one past-object khandha, three khandhas...etc... two khandhas...etc....16. Nahetuyā tīṇi, naadhipatiyā napurejāte napacchājāte naāsevane nakamme navipāke tīṇi, najhāne ekaṃ, namagge tīṇi, navippayutte dve (evaṃ gaṇetabbaṃ).16. In nahetu, three; in naadhipati, napurejāta, napacchājāta, naāsevana, nakamma, navipāka, three; in najhāna, one; in namagga, three; in navippayutta, two (thus should be counted).17. Hetupaccayā naadhipatiyā tīṇi, napurejāte napacchājāte naāsevane nakamme navipāke tīṇi, navippayutte dve (evaṃ gaṇetabbaṃ).17. By way of hetu condition, in naadhipati, three; in napurejāta, napacchājāta, naāsevana, nakamma, navipāka, three; in navippayutta, two (thus should be counted).18. Nahetupaccayā ārammaṇe tīṇi…pe… (sabbattha tīṇi) avigate tīṇi (evaṃ gaṇetabbaṃ).18. Not by way of hetu condition, in ārammaṇa, three...etc... (everywhere three) in avigata, three (thus should be counted).19. Atītārammaṇo dhammo atītārammaṇassa dhammassa hetupaccayena paccayo – atītārammaṇā hetū sampayuttakānaṃ khandhānaṃ hetupaccayena paccayo.19. A past-object phenomenon is a condition for a past-object phenomenon by way of hetu condition—past-object roots are a condition for co-arisen khandhas by way of hetu condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking, past-object roots are a condition for co-arisen khandhas by way of hetu condition.
