Nevasekkhanāsekkhaṃ dhammaṃ saṃsaṭṭho nevasekkhanāsekkho dhammo uppajjati nahetupaccayā – ahetukaṃ nevasekkhanāsekkhaṃ ekaṃ khandhaṃ saṃsaṭṭhā tayo khandhā…pe… dve khandhe…pe… ahetukapaṭisandhikkhaṇe…pe… vicikicchāsahagate uddhaccasahagate khandhe saṃsaṭṭho vicikicchāsahagato uddhaccasahagato moho.(1)36. A neither-learner-nor-perfected-one Dhamma, being conjoined, arises as a neither-learner-nor-perfected-one Dhamma not by way of root condition. One rootless neither-learner-nor-perfected-one aggregate, conjoined with three aggregates... and so on... two aggregates... and so on... at the moment of rootless rebirth-linking... and so on... Delusion conjoined with doubt-accompanied aggregates and restlessness-accompanied aggregates arises as doubt-accompanied and restlessness-accompanied. (1)37. Sekkhaṃ dhammaṃ saṃsaṭṭho sekkho dhammo uppajjati naadhipatipaccayā – sekkhe khandhe saṃsaṭṭho sekkho adhipati.(1)37. There is one not by way of root, three not by way of dominance, three not by way of pre-existence, three not by way of post-existence, three not by way of repetition, two not by way of kamma, two not by way of result, one not by way of jhāna, one not by way of path, three not by way of dissociation (thus should it be enumerated).40. Hetupaccayā naadhipatiyā tīṇi, napurejāte tīṇi, napacchājāte naāsevane tīṇi, nakamme dve, navipāke dve, navippayutte tīṇi (evaṃ gaṇetabbaṃ).40. By way of root condition, three not by way of dominance, three not by way of pre-existence, three not by way of post-existence, not by way of repetition, two not by way of kamma, two not by way of result, three not by way of dissociation (thus should it be enumerated).41. Nahetupaccayā ārammaṇe ekaṃ, anantare samanantare sahajāte aññamaññe nissaye upanissaye purejāte āsevane kamme vipāke āhāre indriye jhāne magge sampayutte vippayutte atthiyā natthiyā vigate avigate ekaṃ (evaṃ gaṇetabbaṃ).41. Not by way of root condition, one by way of object, one by way of contiguity, immediacy, co-existence, mutuality, support, strong support, pre-existence, repetition, kamma, result, nutriment, faculty, jhāna, path, association, dissociation, presence, absence, disappearance, non-disappearance (thus should it be enumerated).42. Sekkho dhammo sekkhassa dhammassa hetupaccayena paccayo – sekkhā hetū sampayuttakānaṃ khandhānaṃ hetupaccayena paccayo.(1)42. A learner Dhamma is a condition for a learner Dhamma by way of root condition. Learner roots are a condition for their associated aggregates by way of root condition. (1)43. Sekkho dhammo nevasekkhanāsekkhassa dhammassa ārammaṇapaccayena paccayo – ariyā maggā vuṭṭhahitvā maggaṃ paccavekkhanti, sekkhaṃ phalaṃ paccavekkhanti, cetopariyañāṇena sekkhacittasamaṅgissa cittaṃ jānanti, sekkhā khandhā cetopariyañāṇassa, pubbenivāsānussatiñāṇassa, anāgataṃsañāṇassa, āvajjanāya ārammaṇapaccayena paccayo.(1)43. A learner Dhamma is a condition for a neither-learner-nor-perfected-one Dhamma by way of object condition. Noble ones, having emerged from the path, reflect on the path; they reflect on the learner fruit; with the knowledge of penetration of others' minds, they know the mind of one endowed with a learner mind. Learner aggregates are a condition for the knowledge of penetration of others' minds, for the knowledge of recollection of past existences, for the knowledge of future events, for advertence, by way of object condition. Nevasekkhanāsekkho dhammo nevasekkhanāsekkhassa dhammassa ārammaṇapaccayena paccayo – dānaṃ datvā sīlaṃ samādiyitvā uposathakammaṃ katvā taṃ paccavekkhati, pubbe suciṇṇāni…pe… jhānā vuṭṭhahitvā jhānaṃ paccavekkhati, ariyā nibbānaṃ paccavekkhanti.44. A neither-learner-nor-perfected-one Dhamma is a condition for a neither-learner-nor-perfected-one Dhamma by way of object condition. Having given alms, having undertaken precepts, having performed the Uposatha observance, one reflects on that; formerly well-performed deeds... and so on... having emerged from jhānas, one reflects on the jhāna; noble ones reflect on Nibbāna.45. Sekkho dhammo sekkhassa dhammassa adhipatipaccayena paccayo.45. Sekkha dhamma is a condition for sekkha dhamma by way of predominance condition.46. Asekkho dhammo asekkhassa dhammassa adhipatipaccayena paccayo.46. Asekkhā dhamma is a condition for asekkhā dhamma by way of predominance condition.47. Nevasekkhanāsekkho dhammo nevasekkhanāsekkhassa dhammassa adhipatipaccayena paccayo – ārammaṇādhipati, sahajātādhipati.47. Nevasekkhanāsekkha dhamma is a condition for nevasekkhanāsekkha dhamma by way of predominance condition – object predominance, conascent predominance.48.
