Therefore, faith in the Buddha, Dhamma, and Saṅgha is of great benefit.

The one who saves, the one who brings benefit, the one who causes to act, the one who destroys, the one who causes to attain, the beloved one who is united, the slayer; that Buddha has indeed done what should be done.

It always spreads throughout the assembly, and my body is likewise.

When life is exhausted, Nibbāna is easily attained by those devoted to the Buddha;

Having spoken of the Buddha’s qualities, for the benefit, there is none equal to him; I am happy everywhere, the Saṅgha is endowed with heroes.

Praising the Buddha, the ender of suffering, and the tranquil, unconditioned Dhamma;

I became a giver of happiness, and therefore happy for beings.

When life is exhausted, Nibbāna is easily attained by those devoted to the Buddha; I will explain their cause, listen to it as it truly is.

The Conqueror, having overcome the false teachers in the crowd infested with sectarians;

Speaking of his qualities, I made the leader shine; therefore, I am radiant.

By revering the tranquil and glorious Blessed One in the proper manner; wherever I was reborn, I became glorious because of that.

I was like the moon in autumn; therefore, I am pleasant to behold.

Praising the Buddha, the ender of suffering, and the tranquil, unconditioned Dhamma; I became a giver of happiness, and therefore happy for beings.

As far as my ability allowed, I praised the Fortunate One with all my words;

Therefore, I am a master of speech, with varied eloquence.

I suppressed them with the True Dhamma; therefore, I am not scorned.

Therefore, I was wise, discerning subtle meanings.
