Caturāsītisahassa, dhammakkhandhāpabhaṅkarā;
The eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dhamma, brilliant and illuminating;
Bốn mươi tám ngàn (84.000) pháp uẩn, chói sáng;

Lokamhi yassa jotanti, nantavaṇṇapabhassarā.
Whose infinite hues shine resplendently in the world.
Trong thế gian, những pháp ấy của Ngài chiếu sáng, với vô lượng màu sắc rực rỡ.

Anantavaṇṇaṃ sambuddhaṃ, vande niruttipāraguṃ;
I venerate the Fully Enlightened One of infinite glory, skilled in etymology;
Con xin đảnh lễ Đức Chánh Đẳng Giác có vô lượng công đức, bậc thông suốt ngữ pháp;

Saddhammañcassa saṅghañca, visuddhavaṇṇabhājanaṃ.
And His True Dhamma and the Saṅgha, the receptacles of pure qualities.
Cùng với Chánh Pháp và Tăng đoàn của Ngài, là nơi chứa đựng các công đức thanh tịnh.

Moggallāno mahāñāṇī, niruttāraññakesarī;
The greatly wise Moggallāna, a lion in the forest of etymology;
Đức Moggallāna, bậc Đại Trí, sư tử trong rừng ngữ pháp;

Nadi byākaraṇaṃnādaṃ, sogatāraññabyāpanaṃ.
His grammar, a river, its sound pervading the forest of the Sugata's teachings.
Đã tạo ra tiếng rống ngữ pháp vang dội khắp rừng giáo pháp của Đức Phật.

Tassatthaṃ dīpayissāmi, nānārāsiṃvibhājayaṃ;
I shall illuminate its meaning, dividing it into various sections;
Con sẽ làm sáng tỏ ý nghĩa của nó, phân chia thành nhiều phần khác nhau;

Ogāyha saddasatthāni, navaṅgaṃ satthusāsananti.
Having delved into the texts of grammar, the nine-limbed Dispensation of the Teacher.
Sau khi đã thâm nhập các ngữ pháp học, và giáo pháp chín chi của Đức Bổn Sư.
