If any bhikkhunī, having approached families at the wrong time, without asking the owners, lays down a mat or has one laid down, and then sits or lies down on it, it is a pācittiya.17. When a bathing cloth is to be made by a bhikkhunī, it must be made according to measure. This is the measure: four spans in length by the Buddha's span, and two spans in breadth.22. If any bhikkhunī dwells in close association with a householder or a householder's son, that bhikkhunī is to be addressed by bhikkhunīs thus: "Sister, do not dwell in close association with a householder or a householder's son. If any bhikkhunī spins thread, it is a pācittiya.44. Yā pana bhikkhunī gihiveyyāvaccaṃ kareyya, pācittiyaṃ.44. If any bhikkhunī performs household duties, it is a pācittiya.45. Yā pana bhikkhunī bhikkhuniyā ‘‘ehāyye, imaṃ adhikaraṇaṃ vūpasamehī’’ti vuccamānā ‘‘sādhū’’ti paṭissuṇitvā sā pacchā anantarāyikinī neva vūpasameyya, na vūpasamāya ussukkaṃ kareyya, pācittiyaṃ.45. If any bhikkhunī, being told by another bhikkhunī, "Come, sister, settle this dispute," agrees by saying "Good," but thereafter, being without hindrance, neither settles it nor makes an effort to settle it, it is a pācittiya.46. Yā pana bhikkhunī agārikassa vā paribbājakassa vā paribbājikāya vā sahatthā khādanīyaṃ vā bhojanīyaṃ vā dadeyya, pācittiyaṃ.46. If any bhikkhunī with her own hand gives edible food or staple food to a householder, or to a male wanderer, or to a female wanderer, it is a pācittiya.47. Yā pana bhikkhunī āvasathacīvaraṃ anissajjetvā paribhuñjeyya, pācittiyaṃ.47. If any bhikkhunī uses a robe for a lodging without having given it up, it is a pācittiya.48. Yā pana bhikkhunī āvasathaṃ anissajjitvā cārikaṃ pakkameyya, pācittiyaṃ.48. If any bhikkhunī sets out on a journey without having given up her lodging, it is a pācittiya.49. Yā pana bhikkhunī tiracchānavijjaṃ pariyāpuṇeyya, pācittiyaṃ.49. If any bhikkhunī learns a base art, it is a pācittiya.50. Yā pana bhikkhunī tiracchānavijjaṃ vāceyya, pācittiyaṃ.50. If any bhikkhunī recites a base art, it is a pācittiya.51. Yā pana bhikkhunī jānaṃ sabhikkhukaṃ ārāmaṃ anāpucchā paviseyya, pācittiyaṃ.51. If any bhikkhunī, knowing there are bhikkhus in a park, enters it without asking, it is a pācittiya.52. Yā pana bhikkhunī bhikkhuṃ akkoseyya vā paribhāseyya vā, pācittiyaṃ.52. If any bhikkhunī reviles or scolds a bhikkhu, it is a pācittiya.53. Yā pana bhikkhunī caṇḍīkatā gaṇaṃ paribhāseyya, pācittiyaṃ.53. If any bhikkhunī, being angry, reviles the community, it is a pācittiya.54. Yā pana bhikkhunī nimantitā vā pavāritā vā khādanīyaṃ vā bhojanīyaṃ vā khādeyya vā bhuñjeyya vā, pācittiyaṃ.54. If any bhikkhunī, having been invited or offered, eats or consumes solid food or soft food, it is a pācittiya.55. Yā pana bhikkhunī kulamaccharinī assa, pācittiyaṃ.55. If any bhikkhunī is jealous of families, it is a pācittiya.56. Yā pana bhikkhunī abhikkhuke āvāse vassaṃ vaseyya, pācittiyaṃ.56. If any bhikkhunī resides during the Rains in a dwelling without bhikkhus, it is a pācittiya.57. Yā pana bhikkhunī vassaṃvuṭṭhā ubhatosaṅghe tīhi ṭhānehi na pavāreyya diṭṭhena vā sutena vā parisaṅkāya vā, pācittiyaṃ.57. If any bhikkhunī, having completed the Rains retreat, does not invite censure from the Sangha of both sexes on three grounds—what was seen, what was heard, or what was suspected—it is a pācittiya.58. Yā pana bhikkhunī ovādāya vā saṃvāsāya vā na gaccheyya, pācittiyaṃ.58. If any bhikkhunī does not go for instruction or for communal life, it is a pācittiya.58. If any bhikkhunī, without informing the Sangha or a group, should have a growth or a wound that has arisen on a branch (limb) incised, lanced, washed, anointed, bandaged, or unbandaged by a man, alone with him, it is a pācittiya.60. Whatever bhikkhunī, in an elevated dwelling belonging to the Saṅgha, sits down or lies down on a bed or a chair with attached legs, entails pācittiya.115. Mahallakaṃ pana bhikkhuniyā vihāraṃ kārayamānāya yāva dvārakosā aggaḷaṭṭhapanāya, ālokasandhiparikammāya dvatticchadanassa pariyāyaṃ appaharite ṭhitāya adhiṭṭhātabbaṃ.115. When a bhikkhunī is having a large dwelling built, she should superintend it while standing on ground free of vegetation, up to the level of the door-frame, the bolt-fixture, the window-frame work, and the level of two or three roof-courses.116. Whatever bhikkhunī, knowing, associates with (eats with), lives with, or shares a bed with a bhikkhunī who speaks in such a way, and has not acted in accordance with the Dhamma and has not relinquished that view, it is pācittiya.147. Whatever bhikkhunī, when being spoken to by bhikkhunīs about what is in accordance with the Dhamma, should say this: “I shall not train in this training rule yet, until I question another bhikkhunī who is learned and skilled in the Vinaya,” it is pācittiya.149. They only lead to remorse, annoyance, and denigration,” for denigrating a training rule, it is pācittiya.150. Whatever bhikkhunī, when the Pātimokkha is being recited every half-month, should speak thus: “Only now, venerable ladies, do I know that this rule, too, is handed down in the Sutta, is included in the Sutta, and comes up for recitation every half-month”—if other bhikkhunīs should know of that bhikkhunī that she has sat through the recitation of the Pātimokkha two or three times before, to say nothing of more often, then not only is there no exemption for that bhikkhunī on the grounds of ignorance, but she is to be dealt with according to the rule for whatever offense she has committed there, and in addition, a charge of delusion is to be brought against her: “It is a loss for you, venerable lady, it is ill-gotten for you, that when the Pātimokkha is being recited, you do not properly pay attention and take it to heart.” This is a pācittiya offense for feigning ignorance in that case.151. Whatever bhikkhunī should deliberately cause remorse for a bhikkhunī, thinking, “Thus for a moment she will have no comfort,” doing so for this reason and no other, it is a pācittiya.155. Yā pana bhikkhunī bhikkhunīnaṃ bhaṇḍanajātānaṃ kalahajātānaṃ vivādāpannānaṃ upassutiṃ tiṭṭheyya ‘‘yaṃ imā bhaṇissanti, taṃ sossāmī’’ti etadeva paccayaṃ karitvā anaññaṃ, pācittiyaṃ.156. Whatever bhikkhunī, when bhikkhunīs are quarreling, contentious, and fallen into dispute, should stand eavesdropping, thinking, “I will hear what they say,” doing so for this reason and no other, it is a pācittiya.156. Yā pana bhikkhunī dhammikānaṃ kammānaṃ chandaṃ datvā pacchā khīyanadhammaṃ āpajjeyya, pācittiyaṃ.157. Whatever bhikkhunī, having given her consent for lawful formal acts, should afterwards engage in criticism, it is a pācittiya.157.
