Tattha dibbanti mandāravapāricchattakasantānakusesayādikaṃ dibbakusumaṃ devā mānusakā ca mānusapupphaṃ gahetvāti attho.
Therein, dibba means that the deities took divine flowers such as mandārava, pāricchattaka, santānaka, and kusese, and humans took human flowers, so it means that. Samokirantī means they showered them upon me, so it means that. Vuṭṭhahantassā means of one who has arisen. Vedayantī means they made known, they informed. Sotthi means well-being. Now, in order to show the manner of making known, it was said: “mahantaṃ patthitaṃ tuyha” and so on. But, O Sumedha Paṇḍita, you have aspired to a great position; may you attain it as you have aspired, so it means.

Sabbītiyoti entīti ītiyo, sabbā ītiyo sabbītiyo, upaddavā.
Sabbītiyo means ītī (calamities) are those that come; all ītī are all calamities, afflictions. Vivajjantū means may they not occur. Soko rogo vinassatū means sorrow, which is sorrowing, and sickness, which is pain, may they vanish. Te means your. Mā bhavantvantarāyā means may there be no obstacles. Phusā means attain, reach. Bodhi means the knowledge of the Arahantship Path; omniscience is also fitting. Uttama is said to be "supreme" because it bestows all the Buddha-qualities, referring to the knowledge of the Arahantship Path.

Puṇṇamano means with a mind whose wishes are fulfilled.
