A certain forest-dweller, seeing it, thought, "This must have been a place used by virtuous noble ones in the past; I will restore it," and removing the earth all around, he cleaned the cave, built an enclosure for a hut, installed a door and windows, completed the plasterwork and painting, made a courtyard strewn with sand like a silver plate, set up a couch and chair, and offered it for the Blessed One to reside in. The cave was deep; one had to descend and ascend.
Một người sống trong rừng thấy vậy nghĩ: “Đây chắc hẳn là nơi các bậc trì giới đã từng sử dụng trước đây, mình sẽ sửa sang lại nó,” rồi dọn dẹp hang động bằng cách gạt bỏ đất xung quanh, xây hàng rào cho tịnh xá, lắp đặt cửa và cửa sổ, trang trí bằng vôi vữa và tranh vẽ hoàn chỉnh, làm một khoảng sân trải cát trắng như bạc, đặt giường ghế, và dâng cúng cho Đức Thế Tôn để Ngài cư ngụ; hang động đó sâu, phải đi xuống rồi đi lên.
