Suṇātu me bhante saṅgho, ahaṃ bhante āyasmantaṃ vicittasārābhivaṃsaṃ tipiṭakadhara dhammabhaṇḍāgārikaṃ paṭhama duṭṭhadosa sikkhāpadato paṭṭhāya pucchitabbāni anekāni ṭhānāni pucchiṃ, so ca āyasmā puṭṭho puṭṭho vissajjeti, itihidaṃ bhante sabbaṃ sikkhāpadaṃ nimmalaṃ suparisuddhaṃ tasseva bhagavato vacanaṃ arahato sammāsambuddhassa, tasmā yathāpure mahākassapādayo mahātheravarā porāṇasaṃgītikārā brahmacariyassa ciraṭṭhitiyā bahujanahitāya bahujanasukhāya lokānukampāya atthāya hitāya sukhāya devamanussānaṃ saṃgāyiṃsuceva anusaṃgāyiṃsuca, evameva mayampi dāni sabbeva chaṭṭhasaṃgīti mahādhammasabhāpariyāpannā imāni sikkhāpadāni ekato gaṇasajjhāyaṃ katvā saṃgāyeyyāma.
May the Saṅgha, venerable sirs, hear me. I, venerable sir, have questioned the Venerable Vicittasārābhivaṃsa, who upholds the Three Piṭakas and is a Custodian of the Dhamma, on many points to be asked, starting from the first training rule concerning a serious fault. And that venerable one, being questioned, has answered each time. Thus, venerable sirs, all these training rules are pure and perfectly clear, the very word of that Blessed One, the Arahant, the Perfectly Self-Awakened One. Therefore, just as the great elder bhikkhus headed by Mahākassapa, the ancient reciters, recited and repeatedly recited for the lasting duration of the Holy Life, for the welfare of many, for the happiness of many, out of compassion for the world, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of devas and humans, so too should we, all those now included in the Sixth Saṅgha Recitation's great Dhamma assembly, recite these training rules by performing a collective chanting together.
Bạch ngài Tăng đoàn hãy lắng nghe tôi. Bạch ngài, tôi đã hỏi Tôn giả Vicittasārābhivaṃsa, người nắm giữ Tam Tạng, người giữ kho Pháp, về nhiều điểm cần hỏi, bắt đầu từ học giới Saṅghādisesa đầu tiên. Và Tôn giả đã trả lời mỗi khi được hỏi. Bạch ngài, tất cả học giới này đều trong sạch, hoàn toàn thanh tịnh, là lời nói của chính Đức Thế Tôn, bậc A-la-hán, Chánh Đẳng Giác. Vì vậy, như các bậc Đại Trưởng lão thời xưa, đứng đầu là Đại Ca-diếp, những người đã kết tập kinh điển, đã kết tập và trùng tụng vì sự trường tồn của Phạm hạnh, vì lợi ích của nhiều người, vì hạnh phúc của nhiều người, vì lòng từ bi đối với thế gian, vì lợi ích, vì hạnh phúc của chư thiên và loài người, thì cũng vậy, tất cả chúng ta, những người tham gia Đại Pháp hội kết tập lần thứ Sáu này, hãy cùng nhau tụng đọc các học giới này theo nhóm.
