who has accomplished the welfare of the three realms, the sole banner of all worlds,

Amitamatimanagghaṃ santidaṃ merusāraṃ
whose wisdom is immeasurable and priceless, who grants peace, who is like the essence of Meru,

who causes the lotus of the mind of other beings to blossom,
Khiến hoa sen tâm của chúng sinh còn lại được nở rộ,

Kumatikumudanāsaṃ buddhapubbācalaggā
who destroys the water-lily of false views, risen from the eastern peak of the Buddha (sun),
Tiêu diệt hoa súng của tà kiến, từ đỉnh núi phương đông của chư Phật,

Uditamahamudāraṃ dhammabhānuṃ namāmi;
to that Noble Dhamma-sun, I pay homage.

Possessed of perfectly pure virtue, who has shaken off the net of evil,

Suranaramahanīyaṃ pāhuneyyāhuneyyaṃ,
worthy of honor by gods and humans, worthy of hospitality and offerings,

Ujupathapaṭipannaṃ puññakhettaṃ janānaṃ
who have entered the straight path, the field of merit for people,

to that Sangha, the excellent ones, I respectfully pay homage.

Having thus offered homage, having dispelled all obstacles,

I shall describe Sumanakūṭa, which is purified by the contact of the Buddha's undefiled lotus-feet,

that king of mountains for the gods, this matchless abode.

By listening, speaking, and also by remembering and venerating it,

one becomes truly happy and attains Nibbāna.
